• Do you provide your own cleaning products?
  • Yes! Our cleaning professionals come fully equipped with all their own cleaning products and equipment. In NYC however, because most of our cleaning professionals travel via public transportation, we prefer to use our customer’s broom, dustpan, vacuum and mop however if need be we can definitely provide it.

  • Can I provide my own cleaning products?
  • E-Z Clean will happily use your cleaning products as long as they are Green Seal Certified. It is our goal to ensure your home, your family, and our team members are not exposed to toxins in cleaning products. • Do you clean interior windows?

  • Will your cleaners bring a step ladder with them?
  • Typically, only those that service outside of the NYC area and arrive by car. For obvious reasons those that travel by public transportation will not be able to carry a step ladder with them, therefore if use of a step ladder is required then please be sure to provide one. Please note also that for insurance and safety reasons, our cleaning professionals are only able to use a step ladder and to clean within arms reach.

  • How can I let you know my comments once the cleaning has taken place?
  • Easy – just complete our E-Z Score and provide any additional comments you should like to add; we’ll be sure to share them with our team members.

  • Should I stay or go out during the cleaning?
  • We require all customers, or their appointed representative, to be present during the cleaning service. The only exception to this is if the cleaning service is a Moving Clean where the home is void of all furniture and the customer is either Moving In or Moving Out in which case they do not need to be present during the service however they are required to be present before the service completes in order to do the walk-through to be sure the service is to their satisfaction.

  • What if I have plans to be somewhere else immediately after the cleaning or am hosting an event such as a party?
  • We recommend keeping some contingency time just in case the assignment takes a little longer to complete, or if the cleaning professional is running behind schedule in arriving. Most of the time they arrive on time or even early but occasionally there are delays. It is not unusual with the majority of our customers, particularly those that live in larger homes to keep their calendar clear the day of cleaning or to arrange for the cleaning assignment to take place the day before an event such as a party – this alleviates possible frustration and nervousness. We want our customers to be relaxed and stress free and for the cleaning to go hopefully like clockwork.
